to help eliminate the challenges of moving. Our Move-in Coordinator
will help you through all the steps of moving.
Preparing to Move
Our move-in coordination begins immediately when you decide
to move to Heritage Place because questions about moving can start
that soon as well. We will help you with planning and decisions
including:
- Floor plan and room dimension review
- Home visit and furniture review
- Interior coordination including selection and measuring of furnishings
- Furniture layout assistance
- Review of moving and packing service options
Making Arrangements
No one likes surprises when they move. To help make sure you
don't have any, we will work to get all details set before you walk
in the front door. Some of the details we will work with you to
cover are:
- Coordination and on-going communication with movers and packers
- Help with storage options, if necessary
- Mail and newspaper delivery forwarding
- Establishing phone service
- Transferring or cancelling power, gas and water utilities
- Furniture placement
- Identifying organizations that will take items you wish to donate
- Hanging of pictures and arranging window coverings
Orientation
Once you've moved in, we'll help you with the adjustment to
your new surroundings. We ensure youj're ready to take advantage
of all Heritage Place has to offer by:
- Introducing you to key service people
- Conducting a wellness assessment with recommendations
- Helping you find important areas inside the building
- Orienting you to all the services offered at Heritage Place
